My name is Mr. John Roadman, and I will be your child's 4th grade teacher this year. Because of the time we will be spending together I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a few things about myself both personally and professionally.

 I was born and raised in a small town south of Pittsburgh Pa. I still have many friends and relatives that I enjoy visiting there. I received my B.S. degree in Elementary Education from California University of Pennsylvania. I have also taken classes from George Washington University, Old Dominion University, and Norfolk State University.

 Most of my out of school hours are spent participating in sporting activities. I enjoy running, golf, basketball, and water sports with my wife Doreen and son Camron.

 I hope  you have had a super summer and are looking ahead to a great school year. I'm sure we can make it your best ever and get you prepared for the next level.
